Equilibration

Having your teeth fit together properly relative to the jaw joints (See “Your Bite-The Foundation Of Dental Health”) is one of the most important elements to long term oral health.  A poor bite can lead to the following:

  • Headaches
  • Ear aches
  • Soreness when opening and closing the mouth
  • Clicking or popping of the jaw
  • Pain or soreness of the jaw muscles
  • Sore teeth
  • Loose teeth
  • Cracked teeth
  • Teeth that are sensitive to hot or cold
  • Gum recession

Equilibration is the adjustment of teeth, allowing them to fit together in a way that is healthy for your jaw, muscles and teeth.
